Getting to Know Your Classes
Light & Lively
|A beginner level, lower impact aerobics class in which dance and walk-aerobics are choreographed to music. Learn basic movements, steps, and cues. Strength training, abdominal firming, and interval circuit training are also included. Monday and Friday classes are cardio conditioning and coordination. Wednesday classes are toning, strengthening, flexibility, and balance. All ages and fitness levels.|
Meet Our StaffKeith DaughertyThe CFC is pleased to announce a new trainer to the CFC Family. Keith Daugherty has 8 years of experience as a personal trainer, along with 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Aid (PTA). He's an ACE certified personal trainer, Silver & Fit instructor and health coach. During his time as a PTA he discovered his true passion - working with at risk patients and clients. His knowledge of pre-surgical exercise to facilitate a speedy post-surgery recovery has helped many individuals prepare for the challenges of surgical procedures. He's also had the opportunity to work with clients who have Parkinson's, MS, Fibromyalgia, Stroke, Knee and Hip Replacements, Rotator Cuff surgery, and Spinal issues. Keith is here Monday - Friday 9am-12pm to establish custom training programs for clients who have physical ailments and injuries. These programs are designed to help them safely return to an active lifestyle. He is also available by appointment as a Personal Trainer.
A year and a half ago, I decided to do something about my increasing weight and overall fitness. So, through nutritional eating and joining Chambersburg Fitness Center for my physical activities, I was able to achieve my body fat and weight loss goals. My workouts at C.F.C. were instrumental in my fat burning and muscle building plan, helping me to become physically fit. Before joining CFC I tried to do home exercise videos, watching what I ate, weight watchers, and other gyms. I was unsuccessful in progressing with my weight loss. The staff at CFC helped me to meet my goals. They set me up with machine and a workout to get to my goals. They worked with me and educated me on how to eat right and the staff encouraged me to step outside my box and try many of their classes. The staff has shown me so much support during my transformation from 157lbs to 118lbs. CFC has greatly changed my life and I don't think I would have exceeded my own fitness goals without them.
