Chris Anne

Life sometimes comes full circle. Chris Anne Beardslee was a member of our staff when we first opened and worked here for 16 years, teaching group exercise and personal training. She then attended Gettysburg College where she earned her degree in Exercise Science, and she has been educating and motivating students, clients, and other fitness professionals for the past 11 years. She is also a Certified Health Coach, and has earned AFFA Advanced Personal trainer, Primary group fitness Instructor, Older Adult Exercise, TurboKick, PiYo and Yoga certifications. After many years away she's coming back as an adjunct to our staff as an instructor and personal trainer.

Cindy

Cindy Pryor has been the manager of the Chambersburg Fitness Center since it's opening in 1985. She purchased the fitness center in January 2011. Cindy graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in education with a minor in psychology. She has completed training with Fit Tech, a marketing/management company, and with Cybex Equipment Company. Cindy is CPR certified and is a licensed pool operator.

Frankie began working at the CFC in 1996. She's the Assistant Manager and Aerobic Coordinator.She has been in the fitness field for over 25 years and has been certified in Personal Training, Primary Group Fitness Instructor, Turbokick, Boso Ball and Pilates.

Melanie

The CFC would like to welcome our new personal trainer Melanie Lowe. Melanie has a Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Messiah College with a minor in Nutrition. She has held certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting Organization and the Athletic and Fitness Association of America. Melissa

Melissa has been a group fitness instructor since the early 1990s and has taught classes such as aerobics, step aerobics, and aero-boxing. She also has dabbled with many forms of dance, including tap, ballet, and hip hop. Her current passion, however, is the international Latin-inspired dance fitness program known as Zumba. The Zumba program combines her love for fitness and dance all into one fun-filled hour of movement. Melissa teaches Zumba Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-7:00 PM and Saturday mornings from 10-11:00 AM. Any one at any fitness level can take a Zumba class and benefit from it...no experience required.
